Immediate Start – Carer Position – Join Our Professional Team
Location: Bury St. Edmunds, IP32 7FA
Salary: £ £20.25 per hour

Expected Hours: 16-40 hours per week

Key Responsibilities:
As a Carer, you will be providing essential support to our elderly clients with the following duties:
* Personal Care:
* Assist with showering, dressing, and grooming
* Help with mobility and personal hygiene needs
* Support with medication reminders and administration as needed
* Daily Living Support:
* Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the individual's needs
* Perform light housework duties, such as cleaning, tidying, and laundry
* Assist with shopping and errands to maintain independence
* Provide companionship and emotional support to promote well-being
* Health and Safety:
* Ensure the client's home is safe and free of hazards
* Assist with mobility aids, ensuring safe movement within the home
* Monitor the client's well-being and report any concerns to senior staff or family members
* General Support:
* Offer transport and accompany clients to appointments or activities when needed
* Build a positive relationship with clients to foster trust and confidence
* Ensure all necessary documentation is completed as required by CQC and Social Services
Requirements:
* Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle (essential)
* Ability to work a 5-day week rota, including every other weekend
* Compassionate, reliable, and trustworthy with a passion for helping others
* English language skills to communicate clearly with clients and the team
* Previous care experience is a plus but not essential; full training is provided
