Offer description

Our client is an independent UK based bank, who is now looking for a Company Secretary on a Full time or part time basis. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to use their experience to shape and progress the direction of the bank's governance in a way they see fit.


The core purpose of the role is to ensure the Bank maintains the highest standards of corporate governance and that the function and operation of the Bank meet the requirements and expectations of the FRC, FCA and PRA. Further ensure the smooth and effective functioning of the Board to the satisfaction of the Board of Directors.


The successful candidate ideally will have previous experience as a company secretary in financial services and a good understanding of regulatory work. Ideally, you will have experience managing people and providing support and mentorship to people in your team. You should be happy working in a small team and be willing to pick up some of the more basic/mundane cosec activities as well as providing a safe pair of hands to offer more senior-level advice as required by the board.


They are looking for someone to work full time or 4 days per week and the role is offered on a hybrid basis of 2-3 days in the office. A full job description is available upon request.
