The Role
We are looking for experienced Overhead Linesman to join our teams working on our Projects in the South and East of the UK. The Linesperson will be involved in construction and maintenance of the existing networks, upgrading infrastructure and carrying out emergency repairs as required. This will include transformer changing and oil sampling as required.
We have secured multi year frameworks with multiple DNOs, providing support across their ED2 Distribution Network Programme. We will be providing services across all distribution assets, including overhead lines, underground cabling and substations on 33Kv and 132KV networks.
Key Responsibilities
We are looking for someone to:
Carry out all work in accordance with the standards, policies and procedures of recipient DNO.
Install, build and refurbish overhead lines up to 132KV.
Conform to all instructions stated in method statements and risk assessments.
Liaise with Site Supervisors regarding and specific site issues.
Experience and Qualifications
Construction and maintenance of the 6.6/11Kv distribution Networks.
Experience in BLX or equivalent HV systems.
Construction and maintenance of the 33/66Kv bulk supply network.
132Kv lattice steel towers would be of an advantage.
Working on LV networks both open wire and ABC would be advantageous.
Replacing HV pole mounted transformers up to 200KVA.
Working with MEWPs, safe operation of MEWPs.
Experience of working on an Overhead Lines electrical networks
Hold a valid EUSR or CSCS Card
Hold a valid First Aid Qualification (Remove as we can facilitate for the right persons))
Pole Top Rescue (Remove as we can facilitate for the right persons)
MEWP Rescue
IPAF 1B Qualification
Manual Handling
Working at height
Winch operation
NRSWA Qualification
DNO operational authorisations
