We have an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic Sports Activity Leader to join the team at Gorsey Bank Primary School. You will play a vital role in providing a safe, fun, and educational experiences for primary school children. As well as, supervising children, organising/preparing appropriate play-based activities and ensuring the environment is left in a clean and tidy condition at the end of each session. This position is contracted on a 10.25 hours per week Term Time Only basis. This means you will mainly work when the school is open to pupils and will not need to work during the school holidays unless the contract requires you to do so. In total you will be in work for a minimum of 38 out of 52 weeks. Job Purpose (For further details on the role, please find the Job Description below) Support high quality, child-centred sports activities that meets the needs of all children and their families, including those with additional needs. Provide a safe, stimulating environment, ensuring toys and resources are properly used, maintained and stored, reporting any worn/damaged materials to the Manager. Key Skills & Experience Ability to support sports activities that children enjoy. Experience of working with children aged 4 –11 years is advantageous.
