What you will be doing:
With NHS or private care experience, you'll lead the nursing team to provide high-quality care and support to young people in this 12-bed CAMHS service, while supporting colleagues and promoting teamwork.
As a Ward Manager, you'll empower recovery, supervise staff, manage the ward budgets, and work alongside the senior Nurse to oversee the on-call service. You'll lead by example, act as a role model, and create a positive learning environment that makes a difference.
Other duties include:
* Providing Clinical Leadership and expertise
* Supporting a unified service and engaged workforce
* Ensuring high standards within the Clinical Governance framework
* Supervising nursing staff effectively
* Being an expert resource on Nursing care within the specialism
* Maintaining a positive environment for staff development and high-quality care
* Taking charge of the ward as designated
Qualifications and skills:
* A relevant nursing qualification
* NMC registration
* A positive, caring, and compassionate attitude
* A commitment to high-quality, evidence-based care
* Experience in a similar environment
* Proven leadership skills

This 12-bed CAMHS service supports young people aged 12-18 with eating disorders, featuring an onsite school and a multidisciplinary team, offering a unique opportunity to shape its future.
