We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate female support worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide assistance and support to individuals with various needs including autism and learning disabilities, helping them to live fulfilling and independent lives. Responsibilities:
* Provide direct support to individuals in their daily activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration
* Assist individuals with household tasks, such as cleaning, laundry, and grocery shopping
* Promote independence and encourage individuals to participate in social and recreational activities
* Monitor and document individuals' progress and report any concerns or changes in behavior to the appropriate supervisor
* Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all policies and procedures
Requirements:
* Previous experience working in a similar role is preferred.
* Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with individuals
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
* Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to help others
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
* Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, this vacancy does not guarantee sleepovers however sickness and holiday cover are available.

* DBS on the update service (preferred)
