Title: Procurement Lawyer
Location: Newham
Salary: £24.53 hour
Hours: Monday - Friday 9am-5pm
Temporary: until 29/12/24 with the possibility of extension
Are you a skilled Procurement Lawyer looking for a dynamic new opportunity? Our client is seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join their team. With a focus on providing strategic legal advice and solutions, this role offers a diverse and rewarding work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Provide high-level legal advice on procurement matters to Councils, Members, and Officers
2. Support the delivery of legal solutions in various areas of legal work to help the Councils achieve corporate goals
3. Contribute to a shared back office support service, offering expertise in procurement and related areas
4. Handle a portfolio of high-quality legal work across multiple disciplines and locations
5. Supervise and mentor junior team members, including trainees and support staff
Requirements:
6. Qualified lawyer with expertise in procurement and related legal areas
7. Proven experience in providing strategic legal advice and solutions
8. Strong understanding of corporate goals and the ability to align legal strategies accordingly
9. Excellent communication and leadership skills
10. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
