Shift Maintenance Engineer (Training on PLCs)
£42,000 - £45,000 + Overtime OTE 60K + Training on PLCs + Funded Electrical Qualifications

Are you a Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical or electrical background looking for a 3-shift role that will provide full, in-house training on PLCs and fully funded electrical courses to make you a more well-rounded Maintenance Engineer?

In this role you will be responsible for keeping production lines operational, with the overall maintenance of automation and metal manufacturing machinery. This will involve both mechanical and electrical maintenance on motors, gearboxes, sensors and control panels on a 3-shift rotation.
This company has been operational since the 1950s, specialising in the niche production of specialist materials, supplying heavily into the aerospace, automotive and chemical industries and are vital for their continued operation.
This role would suit a Maintenance Engineer from a mechanical or electrical background looking for a 3-shift role, with full internal training on electrical systems including PLCs.
The Role:
* Maintenance of automation and manufacturing machinery
* Fault finding and maintaining gearboxes, motors, sensors, panels and PLCs
* 3 shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 6am - 2pm, 2pm - 10pm, 10pm - 6am, rotating weekly
* Overtime available at time ½ on weekdays and double Sunday
* Fully funded qualifications such as level 3 NVQ
