About The Role

As a Customer Account Manager within our fast-paced vape distribution business, you’ll be a key link between our customers, our field team and our internal operations. Your role will be vital in driving sales performance and ensuring exceptional service delivery across our customer base. You’ll take ownership of managing inbound and outbound customer contact, supporting lead generation efforts, converting opportunities into active customers, and maintaining a high standard of customer satisfaction.

This is a proactive, commercially focused role for someone who thrives on building relationships, solving problems, and delivering great service that turns interest into loyalty.

Key Responsibilities

???? Sales Support & Lead Generation


* Collaborate closely with field-based sales reps to nurture new business opportunities.
* Qualify and follow up on inbound leads generated through marketing campaigns, trade shows, and website enquiries.
* Conduct outbound outreach to lapsed, warm or prospective customers to stimulate interest and generate appointments or direct sales.
* Maintain an active pipeline of opportunities using CRM tools and provide regular updates to the sales team.
* Identify upselling or cross-selling opportunities through conversations and customer insight.

???? Customer Service & Account Management

* Be the first point of contact for customer enquiries – providing timely, knowledgeable, and helpful responses.
* Manage customer onboarding, account setup, and initial support for new clients.
* Resolve order issues, stock queries, pricing questions or service concerns efficiently and professionally.
* Monitor customer satisfaction and respond proactively to emerging needs or pain points.
* Help support retention efforts by ensuring customers feel heard, valued, and well-supported.

???? Team Collaboration & Commercial Admin

* Liaise with internal teams such as warehouse, finance, and marketing to resolve customer issues or support promotions.
* Provide data and feedback to the field sales team on customer activity and trends.
* Maintain accurate records of interactions, lead status, and resolutions in CRM systems.
* Support broader sales initiatives such as seasonal campaigns, product launches, or client promotions.

About You

* Experience in a sales support, customer service, or account coordination role – ideally within FMCG, distribution, or retail sectors.
* Knowledge or experience in the vape or convenience trade is highly advantageous.
* Confident communicator with the ability to build rapport and credibility with customers.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and comfortable making outbound contact and following up leads.
* Organised, with excellent attention to detail and a process-driven mindset.
* Able to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Salary: £28,000 per annum

Bonus: Bonus Scheme Available

Location: On Site Office Based - Darwen

Annual Leave: 25 days plus bank holidays
