As an Environmental Apprentice, the successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting and advancing our business's environmental performance. Alongside your full-time apprenticeship role, you will complete a Level 6 - BSc (Hons) Environmental Science and Management with a University (TBA). What you will be doing? You'll work as part of the Group Sustainability Function to support the Group Environmental manager to ensure all sites and farms are operating to legal compliance and environmental performance. You will assist in the group internal audits of ISO14001 and ISO50001 for all sites/farms. You'll contribute to making sure all sites/farms have the support they need from an Environmental compliance point of view. You will help to the wider sustainability team when and where needed to help drive Cranswick's 'Second Nature' initiative. You will develop and maintain relationships with site environmental teams. You will be at part of the group sustainability team pushing environmental initiatives across the group. What we are looking for? Strong analytical and problem-solving skills will be essential in this role you'll be required to interpret and report on key business data. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training, mentorship, and exposure to various aspects of the business, contributing to supporting our brilliant team to achieve our desired goals. Requirements You should have a minimum of two GCE A2-level passes (or equivalent), including a Science subject; and five GCSEs at grade Cor above (or equivalent), including English and Mathematics. You may be required to attend an interview and/or provide a portfolio of work.
