Care Centre with 82-bed facility in Dagenham which is dedicated to providing high quality care for a huge range of disabilities, disorders and behaviours. Providing 24 hour residential care, seven days a week, the team offer elderly care, end of life care and younger care.
Looking for Registered Nurse with experience in a similar role, at least one year in care home
We are currently looking to recruit Registered Nurses with a passion for providing exceptional, kind, personalised care that promotes choice, dignity and respect.
You'll work with fellow Nurses and Senior Care Leads. Our knowledgeable and accessible Clinical and Quality team experts are on hand, with 24/7 on-call support if you need them. They are regular visitors to our homes offering guidance and support where needed. You'll build lasting relationships with our residents making a meaningful difference in their health and well-being every day .

Essential Skills:
* You must have a UK Registered Nurse Qualification (RGN)
* Active UK NMC PIN
* Clear DBS And 2 satisfactory references
* Registered Nurse (Mental Health or Adult Nurse)
* Knowledge of mental health act, mental capacity act and associated legislation.
* Ability to communicate effectively, orally and in writing.
* Experience of working in a nursing home
* A good understanding and experience of service user's diagnoses, treatment and recovery
* Good IT Skills – must be able to document/report service-user care records and incidents accurately on mobile devices and computer
* A positive ‘can do' attitude and a team player able to work in an adaptive way to a dynamic environment

Here's some of your tasks:
* You will dispense and administer medication to residents as prescribed, accurately maintaining appropriate records
* You will carry out stock control and ordering of resident's prescribed medication and medical products
* You'll need to understand and comply with all statutory and legal requirements that are relevant such as Health and Safety, COSHH, and all aspects of the care Standards Act.
* Promoting the highest standards of clinical nursing throughout the nursing home
* Overseeing the day-to-day care of patients and the administration of required medication
* To provide nursing and personal care to residents and promote their abilities.
* Will be required to supervise qualified and unqualified staff on a day to day basis as delegated by Line Manager
* Planning, implementing, and supervising the provision of quality care
* Maintaining the required medical documentation
* Upholding residents' rights to privacy, dignity and choice
* Reporting any ill health among the residents and request professional visits when necessary
* Familiarising yourself with, and strictly adhering to, company policy and procedure and Care Inspectorate guidelines
* Abiding by the Nursing and Midwifery Council's (NMC'S) code of professional conduct
