A highly regarded Liverpool‑based law firm is looking for a Medical Negligence Solicitor to join their specialist team. This is a fantastic opportunity to handle a diverse and high‑quality caseload while working within a supportive and collaborative environment.
* Handling a varied caseload of medical negligence claims, including birth injuries, spinal injuries, fatal claims, inquests, and misdiagnosis cases
* Conducting thorough investigations and gathering evidence to support client claims
* Providing clear, empathetic, and strategic legal advice to clients and their families
* Drafting key legal documents such as witness statements, expert instructions, and court applications
* Representing clients at court hearings and mediations
* Working closely with senior colleagues on high‑value and complex claims
* Playing an active role in business development and client relationship management
What We’re Looking For:
* 3+ years PQE, with at least 3 years’ experience in medical negligence
* Ability to manage cases independently while keeping clients fully informed
* Strong client‑facing skills with the ability to build lasting relationshipsExperience with advocacy, mediation, and court representation
* A proactive and team‑focused approach, with strong organisational skills
* A commercial mindset and interest in developing the firm’s presence in the regional market
