Maintenance Engineer You will have a dynamic and variable role and will have responsibility for ensuring continual plant and equipment availability through the provision of highly effective maintenance and repair for sitewide production equipment and facilities. Key responsibilities include; Ensuring plant and equipment availability for all operational production activities Plant and equipment fault-finding and repair Planned preventative maintenance Maintenance and repair of a broad range of volume production plant and machinery Liaising with and supporting external contractors Ensuring all personnel on site comply with safe work practices Ensuring where possible production is not impacted. Carry out any special projects as required by management team Maintenance of records for repairs, breakdowns, installations etc Working with Operators to identify faults and improve ways of working You will ideally have undertaken a traditional apprenticeship, or equivalent formal training programme, and have in-depth working experience of plant and equipment maintenance within a manufacturing / production or process environment. You will have previous experience of a range of electrical and mechanical plant and equipment and of planned maintenance systems, breakdown maintenance and installation of a broad range of plant and equipment.
