Job Summary
The Auburn University Bookstore is excited to begin the search for a Student Receiving Associate! This position will assist with unloading trucks, processing merchandise, and assisting the Bookstore as needed.

Essential Functions
* Help unload freight trucks and record packages in the daily receiving log.
* Process merchandise and then deliver it to the appropriate department in a timely manner after it has been received.
* Ensure merchandise is tagged correctly, scans at the right price, and is free of damages.
* Assist on the sales floor and in other departments of the store as needed.
* Efficiently and accurately process customer transactions on the cash register.

Minimum Qualifications
* Currently enrolled student at Auburn University
* Be available to work home football game days
* Must be able to climb ladders.
* Must be able to climb stairs frequently.
* Must be able to lift approximately 10-25 lbs frequently.
* Must be able to lift approximately 50 lbs occasionally.
* Must be able to stand for 4 hours at a time.

* Detail oriented
* Organizational skills
* Ability to work individually as well as cooperatively with others.
