Female Complex Care Assistant – Driver with Own Vehicle

Pay Rate: £13.69 – £14.50 per hour (including holiday pay)

About the Role
This is a complex care position. You will provide dedicated, specialist care to clients with long‑term complex health conditions in their own homes.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing 1‑2‑1 care in the client's own home.
* Supporting clients with tracheostomy care, ventilation support, and respiratory needs.
* Managing complex medication regimens and clinical observations.
* Providing personal care with dignity and respect for clients with physical disabilities.
* Supporting PEG feeding and nutritional management.
* Monitoring and responding to changes in client condition.
* Working closely with healthcare professionals and families.
* Working solo or as part of a 2‑person team for double‑up care packages.
* Following detailed care plans created by our clinical team.
* Maintaining accurate care records and clinical documentation.
* Communicating effectively with clients, families, and the wider care team.
* Following consistent shift patterns with the same client(s).
* Being available for shifts Monday to Sunday, including weekends and nights.
* Completing the full shift reliably once committed.
Shift Patterns & Hours
Shifts typically 8‑12 hours depending on package.

Essential Requirements
* Right to work in the UK without employer support.
* A full valid UK driving licence and access to a car for work.
* At least 6 months paid care experience in the UK, ideally with complex care experience.
* Reliable, compassionate, and committed to delivering excellent clinical care.
* Willingness to complete specialist training in complex care skills.
Desirable
* Experience with tracheostomy care, ventilation, PEG feeding or similar clinical skills.
* NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care.
