Hays are working with Manufacturing business based in Telford who are looking for a Logistics Administrator to support the Logistics department in delivering a seamless customer experience during the packing and shipment phases of projects. This role will involve directmunication with customers, coordination with internal departments, and oversight of logistics service providers to ensurepliance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
Your new role
As a Logistics Administrator, your role will involve:
1. Directmunication with customers during project packing and shipment phases.
2. Collaborate with Customer Experience teams to enhance overall service delivery.
3. Manage relationships with logistics service providers, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness.
4. Ensurepliance with local and international logistics regulations.
5. Support the development and implementation of logistics strategies aligned withpany goals.
6. Assist in the transition of European operations into the Telford facility.
7. Oversee packaging and despatch of goods, including documentation creation.
8. Manage and chase customer collections.
9. Update and manage Work in Progress (WIP) for service and spare parts.
10. Gather customer information and manage account setup processes.
11. Escalate customer issues orplaints as necessary.
12. Contribute to the achievement of departmental KPIs.
13. Maintain strong customer relationships andmunication.
14. Support stock and inventory control in collaboration with the Stores Department.
15. Adhere to thepany’s Quality Management System (QMS) procedures and processes.
What you'll need to succeed
16. Experience in a fast-paced, agile environment with adaptability to change.
17. Proven ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
18. Strong background in customer-facing roles.
19. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
20. Excellent verbal and writtenmunication skills.
21. Experience with Sage 50, Sage 200, or similar accounting/planning software is desirable.
