Psychological Wellbeing Practitioner – West Cornwall
We are recruiting a qualified PWP to work in Cornwall’s NHS Talking Therapies. You will join a friendly and enthusiastic team delivering low‑intensity psychological interventions to patients with mild to moderate common mental health difficulties.
Responsibilities
* Conduct 1:1 face‑to‑face, telephone, video, and group courses (remote and in‑person) including CBT, Mindfulness CBT, IPT and EMDR.
* Assess patients, provide evidence‑based interventions and facilitate clinical case management and supervision.
* Participate in clinical, skills and reflective practice supervision and regular line management.
* Engage in community outreach work, promotional activities and educational events.
* Collaborate with step 3 and step 4 clinicians to ensure safe onward referrals and step‑ups.
* Work flexible hours between 8 am and 8 pm on weekdays and evening clinics from 5 pm to 8 pm.
Qualifications
* Completed PWP training from an accredited low‑intensity course.
* Experience delivering stepped‑care low‑intensity interventions to patients with mild to moderate mental health difficulties.
* PWP registration.
* Commitment to cultural competency, equal opportunity and use of interpreters when necessary.
