A major UK infrastructure organisation is recruiting an Asset Systems Analyst to support asset information systems within an asset-intensive environment.
This role focuses on the administration, configuration, and continuous improvement of the Asset Information Management System, supporting users and ensuring high system performance and data quality.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and configure the Asset Information Management System and asset register
Maintain system configuration and documentation
Provide user support, respond to technical queries, and update user guides
Monitor system performance and manage issues with system vendors
Produce requirements specifications for system enhancements
Carry out acceptance and system testing for fixes and new releases
Analyse user requirements, assess impacts, and troubleshoot system issues
Essential Experience & Skills
Experience with asset information systems in an asset-intensive environment
Strong problem-solving and system integration experience
Knowledge of systems administration, configuration, and testing
Understanding of asset data, ontologies, and data quality principles
Experience across the full project lifecycle
Knowledge of Power BI and Power Query
Experience working with open data formats to support interoperability
Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Awareness of asset management principles across design, construction, operations, and maintenance
