We're Hiring – Care Team Leader (Nights) at Kingfisher Court!

Nestled in the heart of Sutton-in-Ashfield, Kingfisher Court is a modern, purpose-built residential care home offering first-class residential and dementia care for up to 66 residents. With luxurious facilities, private landscaped gardens, and a warm, friendly atmosphere, our home provides a peaceful and engaging environment for those in our care.
We’re currently recruiting for a passionate and experienced Care Team Leader – Night Shifts (8pm–8am). The role follow a rolling 3 days on, 3 days off pattern, averaging 42 hours per week.
What you’ll do:
As a Team Leader at Kingfisher Court, you’ll be instrumental in managing your shift and leading by example to deliver high-quality, person-centred care. You'll work closely with the Deputy Manager to ensure the well-being, safety, and dignity of our residents.
Your responsibilities include:
1. Leading the care team during your shift and ensuring appropriate staff allocation
2. Managing all aspects of safe medication handling
3. Conducting care assessments and maintaining up-to-date care plans
4. Supervising and supporting team members with coaching, training, and regular supervisions
5. Monitoring and maintaining compliance with CQC and Anchor standards
6. Responding effectively to residents’ changing needs and liaising with external healthcare professionals
7. Ensuring activities and meaningful engagement are part of daily care delivery
What we’re looking for:

9. Confident leaders with a Level 3 Care Diploma (or working towards one)
10. Experienced in care delivery, ideally with a background in elderly care and dementia
11. Skilled in managing medication, assessments, rotas, and shift coordination
12. Compassionate, approachable, and committed to safeguarding and promoting resident well-being
13. Tech-savvy and familiar with care planning systems and digital recordkeeping
