JOB PURPOSE
The principle function is to provide education, training and technical support across the wide range of company brands in line with supporting developers, contractors and key accounts. Contributing towards the sales growth of our products across our customer base.
PRIMARY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
* Carry out product site trials with the aim of securing new business & audit existing sites to verify rebate claims.
* Providing project site support and knowledge across all ranges in order to maintain and grow sales across the RWC brands.
* Visit and maintain regular contact with RWC specified sites on a 6-8 week rota where required.
* Assist the quality dept and sales regions by investigating technical complaints linked to our product portfolio.
* Assist and support installers to ensure technical guidelines and best practices are being followed during installation of our products.
* To assist in the division's strategy of creating demand for RWC product brands, by identifying new sites/developments.
* To attend exhibitions when required/seminars and trade counter mornings, supporting our independent and national retail accounts, e.g., Screwfix/Toolstation.
* To maintain an up-to-date SFDC system, logging customer activity/customer accounts and managing cases through our customer record system.
* To attend technical and sales meetings.
* To be at all times well presented and conduct oneself in a professional manner.
* Achievement of objectives agreed with line manager on a quarterly basis.
* To nurture and develop a pipeline of business through effective project management across the RWC brands.
* To obtain and identify new business opportunities through interaction with new installers and new sites.
* To support our marketing team with projects such as creating product-specific case studies by providing pictures and narratives that showcase installations of our products.
* To provide training across the business on our full product range, including John Guest Speedfit, Reliance valves, and Underfloor heating systems.
* To support the new product development team with the launch of new products, providing innovative ideas to further enhance our range.
* To maintain regular contact with the plumbing & heating sales team regarding new demand targets and site support, assisting our Area Sales manager/Specification teams as needed.
* To carry out toolbox talks and training sessions within colleges.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION
* NVQ Level 3 in Plumbing and Heating.
* Domestic and commercial experience desired.

* Able to cultivate relationships at different levels.
Industry knowledge and commercial acumen are advantageous.
