Role: Primary Teacher
Location: Market Rasen, Lincolnshire
Contract: Flexible temporary roles (day-to-day, short-term and long-term)
Start date: ASAP/April 2026
Salary: £32,916 - £45,351 per annum (depending on experience and/or qualifications).
About the role
At Heart of Supply, no two days look the same, and that’s exactly how our teachers like it. We’re currently welcoming Primary Teachers to work across Market Rasen and surrounding areas, supporting schools with day-to-day, short-term, and longer-term cover in EYFS, KS1, and/or KS2.
This role offers the freedom and variety of supply teaching, combined with the reassurance of working with schools that value your support. You’ll arrive to prepared lesson plans, enabling you to step confidently into the classroom and create a calm, purposeful learning environment that keeps pupils engaged and learning in the absence of their class teacher.
We’re looking for teachers who are quick to adapt, confident in new settings, and naturally engaging. You’ll be comfortable building rapport from the moment you walk through the door, managing behaviour positively, and bringing consistency to each classroom, whether you’re sparking curiosity in Early Years or supporting older pupils through key learning moments.
If you enjoy flexibility, variety, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact wherever you go, this could be the perfect role for you.
About our schools
At Heart of Supply, we’re proud to work with a variety of local schools across Lincoln and the surrounding areas, from nurturing primary classrooms to dynamic secondary environments, and specialist SEND provisions to inclusive academy trusts. Our partner schools are welcoming, well-resourced, and committed to creating positive spaces for both pupils and staff. Whether you’re looking to broaden your experience or find your perfect-fit setting, you’ll have the chance to step into a range of roles that suit your strengths, with our support every step of the way.
What you will need:
* QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and recent experience in a UK primary setting
* A nurturing, flexible teaching approach with the ability to connect quickly with pupils across EYFS, KS1 or KS2
* Confident classroom presence with strong behaviour management rooted in positive reinforcement
* The ability to follow pre-set work while bringing your own creativity and energy to the classroom
* Clear communication, a proactive attitude, and the ability to build rapport with pupils and staff alike
* A minimum of 6 weeks’ teaching experience in the UK
What we offer you:
* Competitive weekly PAYE pay
* Roles tailored to your lifestyle, day-to-day or longer term
* Access to exclusive opportunities in great local schools
* A friendly, experienced consultant who listens
* Free CPD and ongoing professional development
* A simple ‘Refer a Friend’ scheme
* A warm, supportive agency that genuinely cares about you and your journey
We’re fully committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults. All applicants will undergo thorough vetting, including enhanced DBS (with children’s barred list check and Update Service registration), references, and online checks as part of our compliance process.
