Location – Bristol Working hours – Day Shift, 40 hours per week Hourly rate - DOE Responsibilities: * Programming and operating 3 & 4 axis CNC machines on various materials (timbers, plastics, thin metals) * Translating 3D CAD drawings into precise, cut-ready files * Editing CAD files to factor in tolerances and material efficiency * Optimising layouts for economical use of materials * Collaborating with design & production teams, providing vital feedback on manufacturability * Inspecting, cleaning, and preparing cut elements for next-stage assembly and finishing * Managing workflow to meet production schedules * Performing routine maintenance and keeping the workspace safe and organised * Helping forecast material demand and maintaining stock levels Ideal Candidate: * Minimum 2 years’ CNC machining experience * Proficiency with 2D & 3D CAD software (e.g., Rhino 8, Solidworks, AutoCAD) * Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings ...
