We are seeking a highly skilled Business Analyst with proven expertise in the Banking and Payments domain. This role requires deep understanding of the financial sector, including regulatory frameworks and operational processes. Ideal candidates will bring strong knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards, ISO 20022, and business process optimisation, supporting strategic initiatives and delivering impactful change across complex financial environments.
Key Responsibilities
1. Requirements Gathering & Analysis:
Capture and document business requirements aligned to project goals. Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional and non-functional needs.
2. Process Mapping & Improvement:
Model current and future state processes using BPMN. Identify opportunities for efficiency, cost savings, and automation.
3. Stakeholder Engagement:
Build strong relationships across business units, facilitating workshops and ensuring alignment between business and technical teams.
4. Testing & Delivery Support:
Assist in test planning, defect management, and validating solutions against business needs.
5. Change & Transition Support:
Contribute to change impact assessments, training materials, and smooth implementation of new processes or systems.
Key Skills & Requirements
6. Proven experience in Business Analysis within Banking and Payments.
7. Strong understanding of the finance sector, including regulatory and operational frameworks.
8. Knowledge of SWIFT messaging standards and ISO 20022.
9. Proficient in process modelling tools (., Visio), Microsoft Office Suite, and BPMN techniques.
10. Familiarity with project delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
11. Excellent communication, analytical, and stakeholder management skills.
12. Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, and SharePoint is a plus.
13. Holds valid SC Clearance
