In this role, you will work as part of our external team of staff.
Assisting customers by providing excellent customer service, loading and unloading vehicles, picking and checking orders, storing stock safely, and maintaining a tidy and safe working environment. You will also be required to make multi-drop deliveries in a transit or box van around the surrounding area. In this varied role, you will also assist in the warehouse with customer orders.
A Counterbalance Forklift license would be advantageous, along with knowledge of the building material / builders merchant industry. A full UK driving licence is essential for this role. Please note, this role involves working alternate Saturday mornings.
As a yard assistant / van driver, you are the face of MKM to many of our customers. You should be of smart appearance (uniform provided), have a positive, friendly, and helpful manner, be hardworking, and enthusiastic.
