Job Title: Accounts Assistant (Immediate Start - 5 Week Contract)

Hours: 8am - 5pm
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant to join our finance team on a temporary basis to provide essential support during a busy period. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong accounting skills to make an immediate impact.
Key Responsibilities:
* Processing and managing accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Maintaining and reconciling the purchase ledger and sales ledger
* Assisting with monthly budget preparation and reporting
* Performing bank reconciliations and ensuring accuracy of financial records
* Supporting the cashflow management process
* Handling financial documents and filing in an organised and timely manner
* Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers as required
Requirements:
* Previous experience in a similar accounts or finance role
* Strong understanding of basic accounting principles
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
* Ability to work independently and meet tight deadlines
This is a 5-week temporary role to cover a short-term gap in the team to start immediately.
