Position
Personal care assistant (PA) for a senior cat and personal assistance to a resident who is a lady with cerebral palsy.
Hours & Rate
One 24.5‑hour shift per week (10:00 to 10:30) on a 4‑week rota. Includes 2 Saturdays, 1 Sunday and 1 Thursday, with 1 sleepover per shift.
Pay: £12.60 per hour with 6 weeks holiday per year. 12‑week probationary period. Must cover other staff holidays and sickness cover as needed.
Responsibilities
* Provide personal care (transport, bathing, dressing, medication, etc.)
* Administer medication
* Assist with food preparation and eating/drinking
* Support with college work
* Feed and medicate cat, clean litter tray
* Trips out, shopping, and other reasonable duties
* Cover other staff holidays and sickness cover as required
Qualifications & Requirements
* Female applicant, 25+ years of age for insurance purposes
* Holder of a current PVG (Public Vulnerable Groups) registration
* Good driving licence and ability to drive a mobility vehicle
* Non‑smoker preferred, animal‑friendly
* Reliable, able to work independently, honest, caring and loyal
* Good sense of humour (preferred)
