The Role
We are seeking a Catering Team Leader to join our team at the Barn Café, located within the beautiful River Hamble Country Park. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a modern, light‑filled café serving good mood food and great coffee in a stunning countryside setting.

What you’ll do
* Prepare and serve high‑quality food and drink, delivering excellent customer service to every visitor at River Hamble Country Park
* Ensure all food and drink preparation meets food safety standards and complies with the Countryside Food Safety Management System
* Support the smooth day‑to‑day running of the catering service, deputising for the Catering Manager when required
What we’re looking for
You will bring a successful background in hospitality, with excellent customer service skills and a good working knowledge of ordering, record keeping and stock control. Previous team leader experience is desirable but not essential.
You will demonstrate a keen eye for detail and maintain immaculate personal presentation. Highly organised with excellent communication skills, you will put the customer at the heart of everything you do. You’ll be comfortable working in a busy environment, able to perform well under pressure, and remain calm and professional when dealing with unexpected situations.
Above all, you will be enthusiastic, self‑motivated and passionate about delivering great customer service.
