Receptionist – Full Time, Bisley Campus
Knowl Hill School is a small independent school located in the picturesque village of Pirbright in Surrey, with an additional campus in Bisley. We are a co-educational school committed to providing exceptional education for students with Dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLD). Our mission is to create a supportive, inclusive, and nurturing environment where students can thrive both academically and personally.
We are currently seeking a friendly, organised, and professional Receptionist to join our team at the Bisley campus. As the first point of contact for visitors, parents, staff, and students, you will play a vital role in representing the school and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the front office.
Key Responsibilities
* Greet and assist visitors in a warm and professional manner.
* Answer telephone calls and respond to email enquiries promptly and efficiently.
* Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries.
* Maintain a tidy and welcoming reception area.
* First Aid
* Provide administrative support to the senior leadership team and teaching staff as required.
* Assist with attendance monitoring and record keeping.
* Ensure all safeguarding and visitor protocols are followed at all times.
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in a reception or administrative role (school setting desirable but not essential).
* Current First Aid training would be desirable but not essential.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Professional, courteous, and approachable demeanour.
* Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
* A flexible, team-oriented attitude with a willingness to support the wider school community.
