Job Title: HGV Class 1 Driver
Location: Livingston, EH54
24-7 Recruitment Services are hiring experienced HGV Class 1 Driver on behalf of our client in Livingston. This is a great opportunity to join a fast-growing business offering long-term, ongoing work, modern vehicles, and great pay rates.
You will be multi-dropping goods from the RDC to client stores across the UK.
You must be comfortable with heavy lifting and have previous Class 1 driving experience.
What We're Looking For:
* Valid Class 1 / C+E Licence
* No more than 6 penalty points (no DDs, DRs, TTs, or INs)
* Valid Tacho and CPC cards
* Minimum of 1 year HGV class 1 driving experience
About the role:
* Driving a HGV Class 1 vehicle
* handballing will be involved with multi-drop deliveries
* Goods will either be in cages and rolled off or FLT/Pump trucked off
* Perform comprehensive daily vehicle safety checks using your company phone to maintain top-notch vehicle safety and reliability.
* Stay in regular communication with the transport team to provide updates on your progress and ensure our customers' expectations are met.
* Participate in regular training sessions to stay ahead with the latest industry standards and best practices.
Shift Pattern and Pay for HGV Class 1 driver:
* Day shift, starts between 04:00am to 06:00am
* Any 5 of 7 days per week
* Shift duration: 8- 12 hours per day - expected 42.5 hours weekly
* £16.71 per hour plus £50 per week attendance bonus
