About the Role
An inclusive and welcoming primary school is seeking a dedicated and experienced HLTA to join their team on a full-time basis from after May half term. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated HLTA who is passionate about supporting children's learning, development, and wellbeing.
The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, working closely with class teachers, leadership staff, and support teams to help pupils reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities
As a Higher Level Teaching Assistant, your role will include:
1. Delivering planned learning activities to individuals, small groups, or whole classes in the absence of the class teacher
2. Supporting the planning and assessment of learning in line with the national curriculum
3. Promoting positive behaviour and maintaining a purposeful, engaging learning environment
4. Supporting pupils with a range of needs, including SEND, EAL, and varying ability levels
