Due to continued business growth, we are recruiting experienced Female Support Workers to join our client’s growing team based in Patcham.
As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing assistance and support to adults, helping them achieve their best day to day experiences. Therefore, you must be fit and active and enjoy outside activities. Being a driver would be advantageous.
The people you will support are around 80% on the autistic spectrum so experience in this field is desirable.
To succeed in this role, you must have excellent communication skills and be able to establish a rapport. You must also be compassionate, empathetic, and have a genuine desire to make a positive difference in people's lives.
Due to the nature of this role, our client would prefer female support workers with Full UK driving licence to fairly represent the people they support. This is a relevant requirement under the positive action measures of the Equality Act 2010.

Requirements
1. Previous experience in a similar role in the UK would be desirable
2. Enhanced DBS clearance
3. Competency based checks
4. Ability work both earlies and lates
5. Flexibility to weekend work as this is essential
6. 2 sleep duties per week – paid additionally for this
7. Hours of work are 07:30am to 10:00pm
