Maintenance Fitter
Hourly Rate: £17.43 per hour
Hours: 45 hours per week, 08:00-17:00, Sunday to Thursday
As a Maintenance Fitter at FCC Environment, you will ensure that all company vehicles, plant, and equipment are maintained and operated correctly in a safe and efficient condition. You will be expected to carry out repairs and maintenance works in the most effective manner, supporting the companys commitment to safety and operational excellence.
This vacancy is for a full-time position, working five days per week.

Maintain company vehicles, plant, and equipment to ensure safe and efficient operation
- Carry out preventive and planned maintenance, and keep accurate records
- Ensure provision and security of materials, tools, and equipment for maintenance needs
- Liaise with external agencies and contractors to support facility upkeep
- Supervise contractors and issue/close Permits to Work in the absence of the Maintenance Manager
- Always adhere to Health and Safety policies and safe working practices
- City and Guilds or NVQ Level 2/3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or similar) preferred
- Good communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Adaptable, flexible, and comfortable with a variety of tasks and machinery
- Full clean driving licence
