Grants and Membership Administrator (Rochdale) - maternity cover
The role
This role supports our strategic ambition to grow and transform as a local funder. You will work with our Community Development team to ensure grant applicants receive the support needed to develop, bid, deliver, and evaluate their projects. Additionally, you will serve as a first point of contact for new members, working with our Operations Manager to maximize membership engagement and supporting other administrative tasks for the Rochdale management team.
The ideal candidate will be someone who…
* Has excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, with a good understanding of the VCFSE sector and grant investments, and is passionate about Rochdale's communities and social justice.
* Can work proactively and independently.
* Communicates clearly and accurately in writing and professionally in person and over the phone.
* Is proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
* Can use systems to keep accurate records (e.g., membership records, grant information, database).
* Has experience organizing meetings and events.
Additional details
Hours: 36 per week (Monday to Friday, with some evening and weekend work as required)
Length of contract: 12 months fixed term (maternity cover)
Salary: £27,711 - £30,559 per annum
Location: Rochdale/hybrid
Expected start date: Mid June 2025
