£30k -£40k - we’re flexible for the right person
Love the detail? So do we.
You’ll be a whizz with AutoCAD - and know that a fillet isn’t just a steak, and layers aren’t just for cakes.
You know your materials, finishes, and the production processes inside out and back to front. You’ll help us turn bold, creative ideas into clear, accurate, high-quality design intent packs - from complete spaces to individual fixtures and fittings. You thrive on technical design and love turning 3D visuals into real spaces that work.
You’ll be involved from the outset, working closely with our creative team on site surveys, space planning, and producing full technical packs and scope documents. You’ll also be part of the delivery process, attending site visits, managing design intent, and making sure what’s built reflects the original vision.
You’ll be confident talking to suppliers, contractors, and clients, helping everyone stay aligned, solve problems, and get the best result for the space.
About us
We’re Retail Experience Design - an independent design agency with a big reputation for creativity and problem-solving. We work across retail, health & wellbeing, cafés, and workspaces — designing commercial interiors that look great, function brilliantly, and deliver real results for the businesses behind them. You’ll be joining a small, experienced team that cares about good ideas, clear thinking, and design that’s done properly.
Our clients love the work we deliver — functionally and aesthetically. More and more businesses are queuing up to work with us. We’re ambitious and excited about what’s ahead — and we’re looking for someone who enjoys being part of a busy, collaborative team and wants to help us keep delivering great work.
What we’re looking for
* A relevant degree, maybe in Interior Architecture or Interior Design
* Strong experience working on commercial interiors — retail, workspace, health or hospitality
* Confident use of AutoCAD (or similar)
* Solid understanding of production methods, materials, and construction
* A good grasp of building regs and how site fit-outs work
* Someone who communicates clearly and works well with others
* A love of technical design, detail, and a strong sense of pride in your work
Our studio is in the Warwickshire countryside - and yes, it’s lovely. We offer flexible, hybrid working and tailor things to suit the people we work with. Full-time, part-time or freelance - we’re open, as long as the fit feels right. We love what we do. And we think you might too.
Interested? Drop us a line at jane@retailexperiencedesign.co.uk - we’d love to hear from you.
