Job Title: B&W Shopper Marketing & DCOMM Executive
Location: Kingston Head Office
Beauty & Wellbeing is one of Unilever’s five Business Groups, contributing 20% of total turnover and 25% of profit. The beauty market is valued at over €285 billion and growing at 5-6%. Beauty UK is transforming to be more consumer-led, focusing on category growth through Purpose, Science, and Desire. Our strategy aims to enhance profitability and invest in growth plans for Simple and TRESemmé, with investments to support Horizon 1 brands from 2024 and Horizon 2/3 brands from around 2026. We aim to strengthen in-store and online presentation to achieve brand goals and accelerate our growth journey with brands such as Simple, TRESemmé, Vaseline, Shea, and Dove. This role supports and accelerates this objective.

Job Purpose
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Shopper Marketing & DCOMM CSP Executive to consistently bring our brand message to life across all online and instore touchpoints as we focus more on Beauty.
The successful candidate will help ensure brand visibility and maximize ROI through data-driven insights and strategic media planning. This role works closely with Retail Execution, Marketing, CMC & CS&P teams, and collaborates with our CD and DCOMM teams to leverage shopper marketing investment in retailer Joint Business Plans (JBPs).
RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Online Launch Excellence
o Provide support for the timely development of assets for online (Organic content).
o Partner with CMC, CAMs & brand teams to ensure digital assets and content align with brand strategy and are executed across platforms.
o Maintain and execute the digital launch checklist, prioritising SKUs by retailer with CMC.
o Ensure consistency and excellence in paid execution.
2. Media & Influencer Monetization
o Work with brand & CAMs to monetize influencer plans in customer agreements/JBPs.
o Develop the strategy for trade tagging with priority customers and unlock opportunities for category growth (e.g., NPD listing, distribution, features).
3. Online Performance Optimization
o Analyze performance on .com platforms and identify what’s working for hair & skin categories.
o Align portfolio strategy with customer needs and digital shelf optimization.
o Monitor and optimize 2P/3P portfolio performance.
o Share and develop SKU ranking tailored by priority customer and platform.
4. Online Reviews Management
o Oversee management of online reviews across brands; prioritise the range by retailer.
5. ROI Tracking & Shopper Marketing Effectiveness
o Build and maintain a comprehensive “Bible” of executional best practices and ROI learnings.
o Test and evaluate the impact of in-store and online activations (e.g., shelf trays, floor stickers).
6. Permanent POS
o Project manage the delivery of high-impact permanent POS and long-term branded fixtures with brand teams and retail partners.
o Partner with suppliers to elevate the quality of permanent POS in line with brand guidelines.
7. Holistic Planning & Budgeting
o Ensure consistency across platforms with retail execution and performance marketing.
o Support managing total shopper budget and spending with brand & retail execution.

Key Skills:
* Experience in Shopper Marketing, CSP and/or DCOMM preferred.
* Strong project management and cross-functional collaboration skills.
* Analytical mindset with experience in performance tracking and ROI analysis.
* Understanding of category strategy and levers.
* Influencing & people management skills with ability to engage and motivate stakeholders.
* Strong organisational and budget management skills.
Desired: Interest in Beauty industry; Passion for the consumer journey (online and instore).

Location
In 2020 we announced plans to consolidate offices in Kingston and other locations. As of 2024, we are consulting on the proposal to retain our central Head Office in London (100 Victoria Embankment) until 2027. During consultation, your role may be based at 100VE or Kingston-upon-Thames from early 2025, with final location communicated after consultation.
