In this role, you will provide high-quality, tailored tuition to students across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2. You will focus on building academic confidence and social skills in core subjects like Maths, English, and Science.
Key Information
* Pay Rate: £28-£30 per hour PAYE.
* Location: Flexible settings across Herefordshire, including school premises, students homes, or public libraries.
* Hours: Flexible sessions ranging from 1 to 15 hours per week.
* Support: A responsible adult or carer will be present during sessions to assist with learners.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Delivering tuition following the UK national curriculum.
* Developing and implementing tailored lesson plans unique to each childs learning style.
* Adjusting your teaching approach to ensure inclusivity and accessibility.
* Fostering a positive environment to build a students self-esteem and confidence.
* Maintaining clear communication with families regarding student progress.
Requirements
* Experience: Proven track record of delivering Primary Maths, English, or Science tuition.
* Knowledge: A strong understanding of the current UK national curriculum.
* Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to form long-term, meaningful relationships with young learners.
* Compliance: An enhanced DBS check on the Update Service (or a willingness to apply for one before starting).
