Here at the Mick George Group, we are currently recruiting a Maintenance Coordinator to join the Transport team.
Location : Mick George Head Office – Huntingdon Working Hours : Monday – Friday 8am-5pm, Saturdays as Required.
Pay : To be discussed at Interview, dependant on experience.

Job Purpose: You will be responsible for the effective planning and scheduling of all vehicle maintenance activities.
You will play a critical role in ensuring our fleet – including owned and hired assets – is fully compliant with Operator License regulations, DVSA guidance, and company policies.
Responsibilities: Maintenance Scheduling: Plan and schedule all vehicle maintenance activities including: Preventative Maintenance Inspections (PMIs) Brake tests Services Annual and voluntary tests Tachograph calibrations LOLER examinations (where applicable) System Management: Input all planned maintenance activities into the R2C online portal, Maintenance Planner Audit, and Maintenance Diary.
Reschedule planned bookings when operational needs require adjustments.
Compliance and Audit: Conduct daily audits to ensure all maintenance and inspection schedules are correctly set and compliant.
Manage the induction process for new HGVs and the decommissioning of removed assets.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and legal documentation to ensure audit readiness.
Skills & Competencies Required: 2+ years of successful experience in a similar maintenance coordination or fleet management role within a distribution or logistics environment.
Strong practical knowledge of logistics, fleet management, and regulatory compliance.
Understanding of health and safety legislation and DVSA standards.
Experience working within a commercial, construction-orientated business (preferred).
Strong IT skills, with proficiency in using scheduling or fleet management systems (knowledge of R2C would be an advantage).
