Stock Condition Surveyor – South Yorkshire £250 to £300 per day | 18-month contract | Outside IR35 We're working with our client, a global multidisciplinary consultancy, to support the delivery of a housing stock condition survey programme across South Yorkshire. They're looking to bring experienced stock condition surveyors on board for the next 18 months to help deliver this large-scale project across a portfolio of social housing. This is a well-organised, long-term programme with a consultancy that has an established track record in the housing and built environment sectors. About the role You’ll be carrying out stock condition surveys on social housing properties, both internal and external. The role involves capturing accurate component data, assessing condition and lifecycle, and completing RdSAP assessments to support the client's asset management and retrofit plans. Key responsibilities Surveying occupied properties (internal and external) Recording components, condition, and expected lifecycle Completing EPC assessments using RdSAP methodology Identifying compliance issues and HHSRS hazards Inputting data via handheld survey software Liaising with residents where required Working across a postcode-based survey area in South Yorkshire What we’re looking for Experience carrying out stock condition surveys in social housing EPC accreditation (Domestic Energy Assessor) Knowledge of RdSAP and housing component standards Familiarity with HHSRS is desirable Full UK driving licence and own transport Able to work independently across a field-based programme Comfortable using digital survey tools such as PIMSS, Lifespan, or Keystone What’s on offer £250 to £300 per day (outside IR35) 18-month contract Structured, well-supported programme Work with a respected, global consultancy Strong project pipeline with potential for follow-on work Start date is as soon as possible.
