The Best Connection are seeking an experienced FLT Counterbalance Operator for a well-established Client based in Wilton, near Redcar.
A permanent position may be available after a trial period.
The Role:
* Lifting palletised material from the production line and stacking it in storage areas in the yard paying particular attention to the documentation, yard conditions & adhering to safety and quality standards
* Lifting completed material from the storage locations to load HGV vehicle trailers
* Processing deliveries of packaging material & storing in our racking or pallet storage areas internally & externally
* Housekeeping duties, such as blowing, sweeping & collecting spilled pellet / rubbish to keep the terminal as tidy as is reasonably practicable
* Carry out, as required, quality checks on palletised material during production and loading activities
* Communicate effectively with visiting drivers, suppliers, customers & colleagues at all levels
Candidate Requirements:
* Hold a valid, in-date FLT Counterbalance License, with at least 2 years experience
* Double Handler experience a bonus but full training will be given
* Own transport desired due to location but not essential
* Good attention to detail
* Able to work to targets
Working Hours:
* Monday to Friday with - with potential for overtime
* 09:00 am - 17:00, 08:00 am - 16:00 pm and 07:00 am - 03:00 pm rotating shifts weekly
Pay Rates:
* £13.20 per hour basic rate for first 7.5 hours worked Monday to Friday
* £15.84 per hour overtime rate after 7.5 hours worked and up to 9.5 hours worked Monday to Friday
* £17.16 per hour overtime rate after 9.5 hours worked Monday to Friday
* £26.40 per hour overtime rate for all hours worked Saturday and Sunday
