This is an excellent opportunity for an accounts all rounder to join a friendly team and company with a great reputation Finance Administrator Full time permanent role - Mon-Fri (Apply online only) - office based role. Office based in Burgess Hill with parking available on site for staff - also close to the station area (15 / 20 min walk) Salary £27000-£28500 per annum plus very good company benefits This is a great opportunity to join a busy team within a friendly and very successful organisation who offer a very pleasant environment in which to work. The role - Finance Administrator My client is seeking a highly organised Finance Administrator to join their team. This is a key role responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of financial processes, including banking, credit control, payroll support, and sales and purchase ledger management. Prior experience in a similar role is essential The role - duties and responsibilities Managing online banking transactions, reconciling payments, and credit control processes Maintaining accurate customer and supplier accounts, processing both sales and purchase invoices Assisting with payroll preparation, compiling data from employee time records Handling expenses, petty cash, and monthly reconciliations, while ensuring compliance with financial regulations Managing finance-related correspondence, filing, and supporting management with ad-hoc tasks Experience, competencies and knowledge required: An accounts all rounder with a minimum of two years working in a finance role, strong numeracy skills are a must Methodical, detail-oriented approach Confident communicator with strong written and telephone skills Highly proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) Experience using Sage Line 50 (or similar), working in credit control, and experience preparing payroll highly desirable For more information regarding this new and exciting Finance Administrator opportunity, please apply now!
