Job Title: Assembly Operative - PCB Assembly
Location: Birmingham B6
Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Pay Rate: £12.21 per hour
Start Date: Immediate
About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and detail-focused Assembly Operative to join our growing team in Birmingham. This hands-on role involves assembling printed circuit boards (PCBs) and ensuring high-quality production standards. If you have basic soldering skills and a willingness to learn, we\'d love to hear from you — training will be provided for the right candidate.
Responsibilities
* Assemble through-hole PCB components with precision.
* Read and interpret assembly diagrams and instructions.
* Perform basic programming tasks related to assembly.
* Conduct end-of-line testing to ensure product functionality and quality.
* Solder and desolder components as required.
* Maintain flexibility with working hours, including occasional overtime.
* Collaborate with team members to meet production targets.
What We\'re Looking For
* Strong attention to detail and quality.
* Basic soldering skills (essential).
* Experience with PCB assembly (preferred, but training available).
* Ability to follow technical diagrams and instructions.
* A proactive team player with good communication skills.
* Willingness to work overtime when needed.
