Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Manager to oversee operations within our care facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing a Domiciliary Care Agency. As a Registered Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of care are delivered to our clients while managing staff and resources effectively.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Care Delivery and Compliance
* Ensure full compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements, including preparation for and response to RQIA inspections and audits.
* Carry out initial and on-going care needs assessments, risk assessments, and develop person-centred care plans tailored to individual service users.
* Manage safeguarding referrals, complaints, incidents, and investigations promptly, following best practice and safeguarding protocols.
* Liaise effectively with families, healthcare professionals, Trust representatives, and external agencies to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
* Conduct regular audits, service reviews, and quality assurance checks,
* Conduct regular supervisions and performance appraisals.
* Manage staff rotas, ensuring sufficient coverage and continuity of care at all times.
* Respond to emergencies and, where required, deliver hands-on care to maintain service standards.
* Assist senior management with the preparation and submission of monthly and quarterly reports.
* Report directly to the Responsible Individual regarding operational performance and compliance.
* Drive the growth and expansion of the company's domiciliary care services.
* Oversee the onboarding of new service packages, ensuring a seamless transition for service users and families
Requirements
* Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care Services (or equivalent).
* Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar managerial role within domiciliary care.
* Strong understanding of RQIA regulations, safeguarding, and best practice in home care.
* Demonstrated leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
* Full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle.
* Flexibility to work outside regular office hours when required.
