A lovely family based in Alderley Edge, Cheshire, is seeking a Live-in Nanny to care for their baby on a permanent basis. This blended role includes overnight monitoring and daytime support, alongside all general nanny duties.
Responsibilities
* Provide overnight monitoring and daytime support, including occasional weekend work (50–60 hours per week)
* Prepare milk for the child, change nappies, and maintain hygiene
* Clean and sterilise bottles, wash and dress the child, and keep the child’s room tidy and well‑organised
* Organise the child’s daily schedule, establish and maintain a nap routine, and engage the child in play and interactive activities
* Monitor the child’s development and update the parents regularly
* Ensure the child’s safety, well‑being and happiness at all times
* Escort the child to doctor’s appointments and support bedtime routine
* Manage the child’s clothes, carry out laundry and ironing, and do occasional grocery shopping for the child’s supplies
* Accompany the family on their annual Europe trips (3–4 weeks each year) as required
Qualifications
* Fluency in Spanish
* Valid first aid qualification
* Experience as a live‑in nanny or similar childcare role preferred
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, nights and occasional weekends
Accommodation: Large ensuite room provided.
