About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Site Maintenance Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day maintenance operations of a regulated, high-standard facility. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for ensuring that all equipment, infrastructure, and utilities are maintained to the highest standards of safety, compliance, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, supervise, and support the site maintenance team to deliver planned and reactive maintenance activities
* Manage and deliver the site maintenance programme, including:
* Maintenance of unit heating systems
* Monthly generator on/off-load testing
* Filter change programme implementation
* Routine checks of heating and ventilation systems
* Maintain and manage the site fault/repair log, ensuring timely resolution of issues
* Source and obtain quotations for repairs, servicing, and equipment replacement
* Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in compliance with health & safety regulations and internal procedures
* Develop and manage preventative maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and ensure operational continuity
* Coordinate with external contractors and service providers where required
* Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, inspections, and compliance documentation
* Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in systems, processes, and equipment reliability
* Support audits and inspections by ensuring facilities meet regulatory and quality standards
* Manage maintenance budgets, inventory, and procurement of parts and equipment
Requirements
* Proven experience in a maintenance supervisory or team leader role
* Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, or facilities maintenance (multi-skilled preferred)
* Experience working in regulated environments (e.g., pharmaceutical, biotech, or similar) is highly desirable
* Solid understanding of heating, ventilation, and backup power systems
* Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage maintenance schedules and logs effectively
* Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple tasks effectively
* Relevant technical qualifications or certifications
