Your New Role
As Principal Operations Manager, you will report directly to the Account Director and play a pivotal role in delivering operational excellence across a defined area of a major contract. You’ll be responsible for managing a P&L of £10m–£29m and leading a team of 50–100 people. Your focus will be on driving performance, improving margins and cash flow, and ensuring service excellence through effective resource and supply chain management.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and executing the business plan for your area in line with contract strategy.
2. Leading financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L accountability.
3. Managing supplier and subcontractor relationships to ensure service delivery and profitability.
4. Supporting bids and mobilisations, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Promoting a culture ofpliance, safety, and customer-centricity.
