Overview
An opportunity has arisen at Broomfield Hospital for someone to join our friendly team as an Echocardiographer in our Cardiac Department. You will provide Echocardiography in both an inpatient, outpatient and community service in which you will be based in our PFI wing where we have the latest, most up to date equipment and facilities.
We are a BSE accredited department, we perform a range of Echocardiography services including Physiology‑led stress echocardiography and Physiology‑led valves clinics.
Commitment & Working Hours
* Fixed‑term maternity cover post
* Part‑time, 28.5 hours per week
* No sponsorship available
Responsibilities
* Work within the echocardiography department as a highly specialist clinical cardiac scientist/echocardiographer.
* Independently perform and report routine and complex echocardiograms in inpatient and outpatient settings.
* Provide training support and education to students and colleagues.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Hold accreditation with the British Society of Echocardiography (BSE) in adult trans‑thoracic echo (TTE).
* Expected to hold or be working towards registration as a clinical scientist with the Health Care Professions Council or RCCP registration.
