About the Role
We are currently seeking a capable and experienced Account Handler/Broker to join our carefully selected team of talented and committed insurance professionals.
You'll ensure our clients receive suitable and cost-effective insurance solutions by understanding their needs and negotiating with insurers to find the best solutions.
Main duties:
- Working closely with Client Executives to understand client needs, including supporting meetings as required;
- Managing all renewal, new and mid-term policy work as required;
- Negotiating with insurers to obtain appropriate and cost effective solutions for clients;
- Keeping electronic files up to date and in order, and all work diarised/tasked accordingly
The role is full time and based at our office in Newmarket, with hybrid working available. Occasional travel to our office in Norwich may also be required.
About You
You will be able to hit the ground running to support our Client Executives and support the long term goals of the business.
You must have:
- Proven experience of working as an Account Handler/Broker, specifically in commercial lines and across a range of products
- At least a C or equivalent in GCSE Maths and English
- At least Cert CII qualification
- Effective computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Office
Experience of using Acturis would also be beneficial.
