Packaging Operatives (days) PrepWorld are looking for Packaging Operatives to join our Packaging Team at our busy fresh‑cut fruit factory, located at our brand‑new site in Northfleet, Gravesend, Kent. Key Responsibilities Move pallets and stock around the warehouse in a safe and controlled manner. Unload delivery vehicles arriving on site, following all intake processes in a safe and controlled way. Drive and handle all MHE equipment respectfully and safely, ensuring all start‑up check documents are completed correctly. Pick and supply packaging in advance in accordance with the daily packaging plans, delivering items to the airlock room in preparation for production. Top up the print room with labels daily, following the Kanban system in place. Operate within the airlock room, issuing packaging to high‑care production as requested, in line with the issuing/receiving procedures. Maintain a clean, tidy, and organised warehouse at all times. Provide accurate stock counts for all packaging SKUs. Report any delivery discrepancies to the Area Supervisor/Team Leader. Take ownership of delivery notes, ensuring they are signed and handed over to the Area Supervisor/Team Leader. Organise stock in the stores clearly and logically, ensuring all internal codes are correctly applied with accurate information. Read and interpret packaging plans/Bills of Material to identify the correct stock required for production. Ensure the airlock room remains airlocked at all times. Follow instructions from the Packaging Supervisor and Team Leaders, completing any reasonable tasks as requested.
