The Role
The team is looking for a mid-level solicitor (2-5 years' PQE) with solid transactional construction and projects experience to join their expanding London office.
You will work on a broad range of high-value and often iconic national and international projects, gaining exposure across multiple sectors including infrastructure, real estate, and finance.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Advising clients on development-related construction matters, including standard form and bespoke construction and engineering contracts.
2. Working on infrastructure projects from procurement through to delivery, across sectors including energy, transport and utilities.
3. Supporting real estate and finance teams on project finance, development and construction risk issues.
4. Drafting and negotiating construction documentation including EPC, D&B, consultancy, interface, and O&M agreements.
5. Advising key stakeholders including sponsors, funders, developers, contractors and public sector bodies.
The Ideal Candidate:
6. 2-5 years' post-qualification experience in construction and/or infrastructure law.
7. Strong transactional experience with a grounding in real estate or projects-related construction work.
8. Trained and qualified at a leading City or large regional firm, or with relevant in-house legal team experience.
9. Technically excellent with strong commercial acumen and an enthusiasm for client-facing work.
10. A collaborative team player who is proactive, highly organised, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
11. Interest in developing sector knowledge in infrastructure, energy or real estate.
