GSL Education are currently seeking SEN Teaching Assistants to work on a supply basis across a range of special educational needs (SEN) schools in Horncastle and the surrounding areas.
This is a rewarding opportunity for caring, reliable individuals who are passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs. Supply work offers flexibility while allowing you to gain experience across a variety of SEN settings.
The Role:
* Supporting pupils with a range of special educational needs, including ASD, SEMH, ADHD, and learning difficulties
* Working one-to-one or in small groups to support learning, behaviour and emotional regulation
* Assisting the class teacher with daily activities and classroom management
* Helping to create a safe, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Requirements:
* Previous experience working within SEN, schools, care, or a related support role
* A patient, empathetic and resilient approach
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Ability to adapt confidently to different school settings
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
